About This FAQ
This comprehensive FAQ addresses the most common questions about Aippt.com’s features and capabilities. Whether you’re evaluating the platform, setting it up for the first time, or trying to get more from your existing subscription, these answers draw from official documentation, hands-on testing, and real user experiences.
Questions are organized into seven categories: General Platform, AI Generation, Template Library, Export Formats, Brand Kit, Collaboration, and Troubleshooting.
General Platform Questions
What is Aippt.com?
Aippt.com is an AI-powered presentation generation platform that creates complete, professionally designed slide decks from text prompts. You describe what you need in natural language — the topic, purpose, audience, and any specific content requirements — and the AI generates a full presentation with content, design, imagery, and structure.
The platform serves as both a creation tool (generating presentations from scratch) and an editing tool (allowing you to refine and customize AI-generated output).
How is Aippt.com different from PowerPoint or Google Slides?
PowerPoint and Google Slides are editing tools — they provide a blank canvas and design elements, and you build the presentation manually. Aippt.com is a generation tool — it creates the presentation for you based on your description.
The difference is analogous to the difference between a word processor (where you write every word) and a content generation tool (where AI produces a draft you refine). Both have their place, but Aippt.com eliminates the “blank slide” problem by producing a complete first draft instantly.
Do I need design skills to use Aippt.com?
No. The platform is specifically designed for people who don’t have professional design training. The AI handles all design decisions — layout, color, typography, imagery, and spacing. If you can describe what you need in plain English, you can create a professional presentation.
That said, users with design experience can leverage the editing tools to further customize AI-generated output beyond what the default generation produces.
What languages does Aippt.com support?
Aippt.com supports prompt input and content generation in over 25 languages, including English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, and Russian. The AI generates content in the same language as your prompt.
Design elements (layout, color, typography) are language-aware, meaning the platform adjusts for right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew) and character-intensive languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) that require different typography handling.
AI Generation Questions
How does the AI decide what content to include?
The AI interprets your prompt to determine four things:
- Presentation type: Pitch deck, report, training material, proposal, etc.
- Audience: Investors, clients, colleagues, students, etc.
- Content scope: What topics and subtopics to cover
- Depth level: How detailed each section should be
Based on these determinations, the AI selects an appropriate structural framework and generates content for each section. For example, a prompt mentioning “investor pitch deck” triggers the standard investor deck structure (Problem → Solution → Market → Business Model → Traction → Team → Ask), while a prompt about “quarterly review” triggers a reporting structure (Executive Summary → Key Metrics → Department Updates → Outlook).
How long does generation take?
Generation time depends on the plan and presentation complexity:
| Factor | Free Plan | Pro/Team Plans |
|---|---|---|
| Simple (10 slides) | 30-45 seconds | 10-20 seconds |
| Standard (15 slides) | 45-60 seconds | 15-30 seconds |
| Complex (25+ slides) | 60-90 seconds | 25-45 seconds |
Priority generation on paid plans routes requests through dedicated processing infrastructure, resulting in consistently faster generation times.
Can I regenerate individual slides?
Yes. If you’re satisfied with most of the presentation but want to improve specific slides, you can:
- Regenerate a single slide: Click the regenerate icon on any slide to get an alternative version with the same topic
- Regenerate with a new prompt: Provide a modified prompt for a specific slide to change its content or focus
- Regenerate the design only: Keep the content but get a new visual layout
This granular regeneration is one of Aippt.com’s most practical features — it lets you iteratively improve individual slides without starting from scratch.
How accurate is the AI-generated content?
The AI generates content based on its training data, which includes broad knowledge across industries, business topics, and presentation best practices. Content accuracy varies by topic:
- General business topics: High accuracy (market trends, business frameworks, professional practices)
- Industry-specific content: Moderate accuracy (the AI knows common industry knowledge but may miss niche details)
- Specific data and statistics: Should always be verified (the AI may generate plausible-sounding but outdated or approximate figures)
- Company-specific information: Limited (the AI knows about publicly prominent companies but not private or lesser-known organizations)
Best practice: Always review and verify factual claims, statistics, and industry-specific information in AI-generated presentations. Use the AI for structure, narrative, and design — verify the data yourself.
Template Library Questions
Does Aippt.com use templates?
Aippt.com’s approach is different from traditional template-based tools. The platform uses AI-generated designs rather than static templates. Each presentation receives a unique design based on its content, purpose, and audience — rather than fitting content into a pre-existing visual framework.
However, the platform does offer:
- Style presets: Pre-configured visual styles (Corporate, Creative, Minimal, Bold, Academic, etc.) that influence the AI’s design choices
- Industry themes: Design configurations optimized for specific industries (Tech, Healthcare, Finance, Education, etc.)
- Structural frameworks: Content structures for common presentation types (Pitch Deck, Quarterly Review, Training, Proposal, etc.)
How many style presets are available?
As of early 2026, Aippt.com offers:
- 12 general style presets: Corporate, Creative, Minimal, Bold, Academic, Startup, Professional, Modern, Classic, Playful, Elegant, Technical
- 8 industry themes: Technology, Healthcare, Finance, Education, Real Estate, Retail, Manufacturing, Non-Profit
- 15 structural frameworks: Pitch Deck, Quarterly Review, Annual Report, Training Material, Sales Proposal, Workshop, Conference Talk, Case Study, Product Launch, Strategic Plan, Research Presentation, Marketing Plan, Project Update, Onboarding, and General Purpose
Can I create and save my own templates?
On the Team plan, yes. You can create “starter templates” — partially designed presentations with predefined structures, content placeholders, and design configurations that team members can use as starting points for AI generation.
For example, you might create a “Client Kickoff” starter template that includes:
- Your standard intro slide with company overview
- A predefined section structure (Objectives → Scope → Timeline → Team → Next Steps)
- Brand-compliant design settings
- Placeholder content that guides the AI’s generation
Team members then select this template and provide their specific client information, and the AI generates a complete presentation that follows your organizational standards.
On the Pro plan, you can save presentations as “favorites” for reuse but can’t create formal team templates.
Export Format Questions
What export formats does Aippt.com support?
| Format | Free Plan | Pro Plan | Team Plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| ✓ (watermarked) | ✓ | ✓ | |
| PPTX (PowerPoint) | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| PNG (individual slides) | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| Link sharing | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Embed code | — | ✓ | ✓ |
How reliable is the PPTX export?
PPTX export fidelity is one of Aippt.com’s strengths. The platform was designed with PowerPoint compatibility as a core requirement, so exported files maintain:
- Layout accuracy: Slide layouts, text positions, and element placement translate cleanly
- Font mapping: Custom fonts are embedded in the file; standard fonts map correctly
- Color accuracy: Brand colors export precisely
- Image quality: Images export at full resolution
- Editability: All elements in the exported PPTX are fully editable in PowerPoint
There are occasional edge cases where complex gradient backgrounds or certain decorative elements may render slightly differently in PowerPoint, but for standard business presentations, the export fidelity is excellent.
Can I export presentations for use in Google Slides?
Yes, through two methods:
- PPTX import: Export as PPTX from Aippt.com, then import into Google Slides. Google Slides handles PPTX files well, though some advanced formatting may need minor adjustment.
- Direct link: Share the presentation via Aippt.com’s link-sharing feature, which works in any browser without requiring Google Slides.
Can I export presentations for Keynote?
PPTX files can be opened in Apple Keynote, which has good PowerPoint compatibility. Most layouts, text, and images transfer correctly. Some complex design elements may need manual adjustment in Keynote.
Brand Kit Questions
What is the Brand Kit feature?
The Brand Kit allows you to upload your organization’s visual identity elements so that AI-generated presentations automatically align with your brand. A brand kit includes:
- Primary and secondary colors: The AI uses these colors for backgrounds, text, accents, and design elements
- Logo: Placed automatically on title slides and optionally on other slides
- Fonts: Primary and secondary fonts applied to headlines and body text
- Image style preferences: Guidelines for image selection (photographic style, illustration style, or no images)
How do I set up a Brand Kit?
Setting up a brand kit takes approximately 5 minutes:
- Navigate to Settings → Brand Kit
- Upload your logo (SVG, PNG, or JPG; recommended: SVG for scalability)
- Enter your brand colors (hex codes for primary, secondary, and accent colors)
- Select or upload your brand fonts (upload custom fonts as TTF/OTF, or select from the platform’s font library)
- Set image preferences (optional)
- Save the brand kit
Once saved, all future AI generations will use your brand configuration. You can switch between “branded” and “unbranded” generation in the creation settings.
Can I have multiple Brand Kits?
- Free plan: No brand kit support
- Pro plan: 1 brand kit
- Team plan: Unlimited brand kits
Multiple brand kits are essential for agencies managing multiple clients, companies with multiple sub-brands, or organizations that need different visual treatments for different contexts (e.g., corporate brand vs. product brand vs. event brand).
How well does the Brand Kit enforce consistency?
The Brand Kit provides strong consistency for:
- Colors: All design elements use your brand palette
- Fonts: All text uses your specified fonts
- Logo placement: Consistent positioning across slides
Areas where some variation may occur:
- Image style: The AI makes contextual decisions about imagery that may not perfectly match a very specific image style guide
- Layout patterns: The AI varies layouts for visual interest, which may differ from a highly rigid corporate template
For most organizations, the Brand Kit provides sufficient brand consistency. Organizations with extremely strict brand guidelines (e.g., major financial institutions, regulated industries) may need to layer additional manual review on top of AI generation.
Collaboration Questions
Can multiple people edit the same presentation?
On the Team plan, yes. Multiple team members can access and edit presentations in the shared workspace. However, unlike Google Slides, real-time co-editing (multiple cursors on the same slide simultaneously) is not currently supported. The platform uses a check-in/check-out model where changes are synced when saved.
How does link sharing work?
You can share any presentation via a unique URL. Sharing options include:
- View only: Recipients can view the presentation but not edit
- View with download: Recipients can view and download (PDF or PPTX)
- Edit access: Recipients can make changes (Team plan only)
- Password protected: Require a password to access
- Expiring links: Set an expiration date after which the link no longer works
Can I track who views my shared presentations?
- Free plan: No analytics
- Pro plan: Basic view counts (total views, unique viewers)
- Team plan: Full analytics including:
- Viewer identification (if they’re logged in or you’ve shared via email)
- Time spent on each slide
- Completion rate
- Device and location data
- Download tracking
Troubleshooting Questions
The AI generated content that doesn’t match my prompt. What should I do?
If the AI’s output doesn’t match your expectations:
- Add more specificity: Vague prompts produce generic results. Include specific details about your audience, purpose, key points, and desired structure.
- Regenerate with adjustments: Modify your prompt and regenerate. Even small prompt changes can significantly improve results.
- Use slide-level regeneration: If most slides are good but a few miss the mark, regenerate individual slides with more targeted prompts.
- Check language settings: Ensure your language preference matches your prompt language.
My exported PPTX looks different from the preview. Why?
Minor differences between the web preview and PPTX export can occur due to:
- Font rendering: Different operating systems render fonts slightly differently
- Image compression: Export may apply compression settings that affect image quality (adjustable in export settings)
- Complex backgrounds: Gradient or multi-layer backgrounds may render differently in PowerPoint’s engine
If discrepancies are significant, try exporting at a higher quality setting or using PDF format for exact visual fidelity.
Can I recover a deleted presentation?
Deleted presentations move to a “Trash” folder where they remain for 30 days (Pro and Team plans). After 30 days, they’re permanently deleted. Free plan presentations are permanently deleted immediately.
Is my content private?
Yes. Aippt.com’s privacy policy states that:
- Your prompts and generated content are not used to train AI models
- Presentations are accessible only to you (and your team, on the Team plan) unless you explicitly share them
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- You can delete your content at any time
For organizations with strict data governance requirements, the Team plan offers additional controls including data retention policies and audit logs.
