- Verify the user’s eligible Gemini Enterprise edition, invoiced Cloud Billing project, and explicit Gemini Enterprise User role.
- Approve the exact publisher, extension identifier, version, update policy, editor, and operating systems.
- Review workspace trust, repository scope, file read and write, terminal execution, browser access, MCP servers, model availability, telemetry, and audit settings.
- Define which commands and files require confirmation and which secrets must never enter prompts or workspaces.
- Preserve branch protection, required checks, code review, environment approval, and human merge ownership.
Test a malicious workspace instruction, wrong repository, symlink or generated file, blocked terminal command, unapproved MCP server, network failure, model removal, extension update, quota exhaustion, and rollback. An extension can make a request easier; it does not grant business authority.
