TapNow Pricing and Tapies: A Live Usage Check
On this page
Quick answer
TapNow is a creative canvas and agent product. Its usage can vary by model, mode, duration, resolution, references, and operation. Do not interpret “unlimited actions” as unlimited generation unless the live plan and confirmation screen explicitly define it.
This page consolidates a second TapNow pricing article. The old pages were written around an unrelated “on-device mobile assistant” concept. Pricing and quota conclusions based on that entity have been removed.
Verify the live offer
Open the current TapNow product and its billing area while signed into the account. Record:
- plan name and billing interval;
- currency, tax, and final checkout total;
- included Tapies or other usage allowance;
- models and operations included;
- renewal date and cancellation path;
- overage, top-up, or throttling behavior;
- team seats and workspace ownership;
- refund and expiration terms.
The TapNow documentation includes current account and billing topics. The terms identify Tamar AI Inc. as the U.S. operator for the services covered by those terms.
Separate actions from generation
An agent action can include planning, organizing, editing, or preparing a generation. The underlying model run may consume a different amount of usage.
Before confirming a task, capture the estimated Tapies, model, output count, size, duration, mode, and references. After completion, record final usage and failed or partial results. TapNow’s documentation says estimates can be shown before some grouped or generated work; the final amount should be checked in the account.
Run a small cost test
Use five representative jobs:
- one raster image;
- one vector or structured asset if available;
- one image edit;
- one short video;
- one Agent workflow with a required approval point.
For each job, record attempts, estimated use, final use, rejected outputs, correction time, and accepted deliverables.
| Job | Model/mode | Estimated Tapies | Final Tapies | Attempts | Accepted output | Review minutes |
|---|
Calculate cost per accepted output, not cost per button press.
Check “unlimited” language
If the live plan uses the word unlimited, find the applicable definition and verify:
- operations covered;
- model or quality exclusions;
- concurrency and queue limits;
- fair-use or abuse controls;
- throttling;
- geographic or account restrictions;
- whether failed jobs are charged;
- whether unused allowance rolls over.
If the answer is not documented, ask official support before buying. Do not turn absence of a visible cap into a promise.
Renewal and cancellation
Test the cancellation path before the renewal deadline. Save the checkout offer, receipt, renewal rule, cancellation confirmation, and the date access ends. App-store and web subscriptions may have different management routes.
Commercial and data terms
Before client work, verify output rights, input rights, public sharing defaults, third-party model terms, content policies, retention, deletion, and confidentiality. A paid plan does not automatically authorize every input or commercial use.
Decision
Upgrade only when a representative test shows that the included models and usage reduce the reviewed cost of accepted creative work. Recheck the live offer whenever the plan, model catalog, or billing system changes.
